BC place was refurbished to look like a crown for the 2010 Olympics. Harbour Centre has always looked a bit like a sceptre. Interestingly, the distinctive mountain peaks to the west of Grouse Mountain are called Crown and West Crown. It’s an iconic Vancouver view.
