This is what I am working on and not necessarily in order. I get lackadaisical if I do too many similar scenes so I do what strikes me. The ones marked with “[©]” are commissions which means there are certain people who have first dibs.

Future Painting Ideas:
1. Vancouver Landmarks / Cityscapes. I’ve already done a lot of Vancouver subjects.
2. Ghost Town Series: All the condo-fied cultural landmarks, e.g. Town Pump, LuvAFair, Cecil, Richards on Richards, Starfish – 16″x20″
3. Capital Cities of Canada series. The idea here is to portray each city in a way that it characterizes each city and all the different facets of being Canadian.
4. Famous Landmarks from Other Cities in other countries – Ideally ones I can visit or have already seen: San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Boston, New York. Sydney, Australia. Lisbon, Portugal
Interested in the Dtes in 11×14 or bigger. We are available for clients to view. Cheers.
Hi Deanna – Thanks for your comment! I haven’t got anything that size of the DTES at the moment but we can certainly discuss a commission. Email me at Laura@Laurazee.com
Hi Laura
I love your work, it’s so vibrant and shows a great love of your surroundings. My favourite painting of yours is Granville Island II. I live in Sydney Australia and would love to commission you to do a painting of Sydney harbour, I think it would suit your style of painting. We have some iconic landmarks such as Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the city skyline. If it is something you would be interested in please let me know and I can send you some reference photos and give you an idea of the size I would like. Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks, Maureen! I’ll be in touch when I’m back in my studio with my To Do list in front of my face. Sydney would be a lovely place to paint.
