Kamloops is full of golden tones and subtle desert pastels. There is a quiet beauty that resonates more and more over time.
This is a single-canvas version of my original Kamloops triptych with more emphasis on spring shades. I also emphasised the blue in the Overlander Bridge. We used to joke in Kamloops that we had two bridges by which to cross the river. One was blue. One was red. We referred to them as the Blue Bridge and the Red Bridge. It was a simple and uncomplicated naming system.

This is beautiful. As a Kamloops person it so resonates and you have captured the feeling well. Is this piece for sale?
Thanks, Kathy. As a relocated Kamloops person, I appreciate your comment. This one is sold but no doubt I will paint others. Thanks!
