Kids used to jump off the top of that bridge into the high river every summer. It’s dangerous as hell given the height of the bridge and the powerful river currents.
The view is a little more vertically squeezed to emphasize the steepness of the bridge and the height of Riverside Park’s Peter and Paul mountain backdrop while the river is dark, mirror-like, and unknown.

Good morning Laura. I love your paintings and my eye has caught this one. I am a Kamloops native and am interested in your pricing. Thank you kindly~
Hi Aja,
Thanks for your question. I price by size so bigger is more expensive.
This one has already been sold (oops, sorry, I meant to update the location) but a 10″x10″ goes for $400. Here’s my price list: https://laurazee.com/about/prices/.
I’m open to commissions, too, especially of Kamloops scenes.
Cheers, L.
