This is part of my “Ghost Town” series of paintings to commemorate places in my neighborhood that have closed and are being developed into something else other than places of cultural interest or cute and useful little corner markets.
Eastside Market was a cheerful place with tons of flowers. At least the whole complex is on the Heritage Building Registry in Vancouver – built ca. 1912 – so it won’t necessarily be torn down. I wanted to remember it as it was.

Good morning,
I am interested in this painting. What would it cost to ship to me in Quebec? J7W 3R6
Thanks
Anne
Hi Anne,
Thanks for your comment. This one is reasonably light and small so I’m guessing under $30 to get it to Quebec.
