This is Westsyde in Kamloops, BC, where I grew up.
One of the best parts about growing up here was climbing the hills right in our backyards basically unsupervised. Every kid I knew did that even though every hole in the ground was a potential rattlesnake nest and bear scat was as plentiful as the sagebrush. One time I was pretty sure I heard a mountain lion roar though in retrospect it was probably a teenage boy. It’s pleasant to mythologize how the only fears we had then were around nature.

I live in the West Pine Villas, which is in this painting!
I love the style and colour! Is this for sale and
how much is it?
Hi Judy! Thanks for asking. I’m keeping this one in
my private collection ;-).
I price by size, though, and my price list is here:

I have coasters of it available and I will for sure
include it in a Kamloops calendar once I get around
to doing one. Thanks again!
